Smok Pen, Review – Could it be WORTHWHILE?
The Smok Pen has made quite the feeling since it was first launched almost 3 years ago. It has since become one of the most popular writing tools among serious pen users everywhere. When I bought my Smok Pen, I knew right away that I had purchased the answer to my long-lasting problem with pens. For some time I had been searching for a replacement to the extremely reliable rollerball pen that I’ve had since college.
Like numerous others, I have trouble finding a good pen that’s comfortable to hold for extended periods of time. The Smok Pen fills this niche. It takes up less space in my bag when I carry it because it doesn’t sit on a table top like other pens do. I also need not be worried about replacing the ink cartridge or the cartridge case like I have had to in past times. The smok pen 22 comes with a charger and a USB cord exactly like any pen.
One of the better reasons for having the Smok pen may be the incredible quality of its battery. It includes a NiCad (or nickel cadmium) battery that is rechargeable. For anybody who have no idea, a NiCad battery is really a lithium battery. They’re very powerful and last for a very long time. In fact, I own two smok pens with a NiCad battery and I use them everyday.
The look of the Smok Pen includes a very unique and novel cooling system. Once you put the pen in the Smok Pen Stand-On Top Pen, it instantly vents the nib air outwards. The airflow then goes over the entire nib and gets pushed through the converter and into the pen’s reservoir where in fact the ink is stored. This ventilation design provides a very cool and steady stream of air to assist in fountain penning. The airflow vapinger.com is especially important in the Smok Vaporizer, because this is actually the only pen that allows one to manually control the flow of your ink.
As well as the ventilation design, the pen uses two different kinds of airflow: a counter-clockwise rotation of the heating coils, and counter-clockwise rotation of the cooling coils. The counterclockwise rotation of the heating coils allows the ink to be infused with extra flavour. The cooling coil on the other hand cools the ink, which allows your ink to be made even smoother. The outcome of the two airflow systems is a superior quality of flavour in your e-liquids.
On the bottom of the pen, you will discover an adjustable airflow control that allows you to control how much ink is infused, as well as a temperature control for precision mixing. There is the ability to adjust the airflow and temperature of the pen pretty useful. Not just that, but the ability to adjust the fire button is actually helpful in situations where you can find scared by the fire and want to try something else.
The Smok pen 22 can be vaporized with either a standard pen or with a rebuildable coil. I’ve tried it both with the rebuildable coil and with a standard pen. In general, I favor the rebuildable coil since it makes replacing batteries easier. The only time that I’ve had trouble vaporizing the pen was when the batteries were half discharged and would have to be refilled again.
In summary, I like the Smok pen quite definitely. It’s cheap, easy to use and gets the job done. I would definitely recommend the product to anyone searching for a pen that produces good vapour. My only real complaint is that it lacks a sub-ohm, which may prove to be a deal breaker for a lot of.
